Hunter Hurlburt

I’m Hunter Hurlburt, I grew up in St.Croix Wisconsin. But for most of my weekends, we are down in Buffalo County. It’s where the family farm is. And every weekend, I’m coming back down to the farm, helping my dad and uncle out whether it’s planting season or harvest season, and then also come hunting season. It’s what drives me down there 24/7, checking trail cameras and looking at bucks 24/7. It’s an addiction for sure. As my wife would say, I just talk about hunting with my buddies. We go somewhere, I’m just talking about next year we are hunting.

So my territory is essentially, Polk County, St. Croix County, and Pierce County. I can list properties anywhere, but I really try to focus on these three counties. Polk County, there is a lot of hardwood up there. There is a lot of deer hunting going on. But you still have your small little niche farms. Whereas St. Croix, your bigger operations, a lot of subdivisions on the western side of the county. And then the eastern side of the county where you get your better hunting properties. Then Pierce County, it’s a combination of both Polk and St. Croix in my opinion. Just some really good rolling hills in Pierce County, with your small little farms mixed in throughout a lot of big bucks in Pierce and St. Croix and Polk. That’s why I love selling properties in those counties. There’s a lot of rivers, a lot of trout streams. And then we got the St. Croix River bordering all three of them all the way down. So definitely something to appeal to the fishermen, but as well the hunting aspect. And the country homes are big in these three counties.

You should choose me as your agent because with the country lifestyle, I grew up with it. I’ve lived it my whole life. I can look at a chunk of land and understand what the true value is. Same with country homes, this makes the process a lot more enjoyable and go a lot more smooth once I communicate and connect with my clients and fully understand what they are looking for. With the work ethic I learned from the farm, I’m all for going above and beyond for my clients, going that extra mile to get the deal done. So I’m really easy to talk to, talk to my clients for long periods of time. And I really get to know them firsthand, really understanding what they’re looking for in an agent and looking for out of the whole transaction, building the relationship with my clients and about their life as well.
